WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

State National is committed to sharing thought leadership in the financial services space and we are eager to host you at our annual flagship event. Expect an enjoyable and thought-provoking three days as you gain insight on relevant industry topics, build relationships with other leaders, and experience the beauty of Streamsong.

WEATHER

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE DURING THE EVENT?

The average April temperatures in Tampa are highs in the lower 80s and lows in the mid 60s. While this sounds very mild, the temperature can also be higher during the day and lower at night. Be sure to pack a sweater or light jacket, just in case.

ACTIVITIES

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE DEPARTURE ACTIVITIES?

-Sporting Clays: Streamsong Resort offers an on-site and newly remodeled 12-station sporting clay challenge course set amid wild Florida terrain just minutes from the main lodge. Everything is provided for this exhilarating outdoor challenge, including transportation, a shotgun, ammunition, all required safety gear and, of course, Streamsong’s certified instructors to guide you. Everyone who participates in this activity will get 50 shots. Be sure to wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes for this activity.

-The Chain: Be one of the lucky first to experience The Chain, Streamsong’s new 19-hole, 2 ½-hour course. Each hole has teeing areas (instead of tee markers) with dragline chains (the course namesake) in the ground to mark the beginning and end of each teeing area. The idea here is for guests to choose where they’d like to play each hole in a match play format, with the winner of each hole choosing the tee location on the following hole. This is a walking-only course with no caddies.

-Guided Bass Fishing: Streamsong offers one of the best bass fishing locations in the region. Your expert-led fishing adventure includes experienced guides, hands-on instruction, and all required gear. Streamsong offers multiple lakes and remarkable scenery as you experience some of the best catch-and-release large-mouth bass fishing anywhere.

WILL I BE ABLE TO RENT GOLF CLUBS?

Streamsong offers club rentals including standard-length Callaway, TaylorMade, and Titleist golf clubs.

TRANSPORTATION

HOW DO I BOOK MY AIRFARE?

Airfare will be booked and paid for courtesy of State National. We will reach out to you to coordinate your flight once you have completed your online registration form. Important note: Once flights are confirmed, please review your itinerary for accuracy upon receipt. Contact Mekaila Coffee within 24 hours if you need to make changes. All change fees/fare differences related to your itinerary beyond the initial 24-hour window will be your responsibility.

Please contact Mekaila Coffee directly. She will coordinate your changes with our travel agency, Adelman Travel. All change fees/fare differences related to your itinerary beyond the initial 24-hour window will be your responsibility.

Your trip includes an economy class ticket for you and your guest, should you choose to bring one. We will do our best to meet your request for window or aisle seats and ensure you and your guest can sit next to each other. If you prefer another class of service, you will be responsible for the cost difference.

State National will be tracking all flights to accommodate for delays. If a delay causes a change in your itinerary, please contact the Event Manager.

Roundtrip airport transfers will be booked for you. A host and driver will be waiting for you at baggage claim. One will be holding a sign with your name and the other will have a sign that says State National CEO Symposium. In the event you are unable to locate either one, please contact your Event Manager.

If you plan to drive, we will reimburse you the cost of gas with a debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). Please plan to arrive on property between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM on Tuesday, April 16.

CANCELLATIONS

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our attendees, guest speakers, and State National staff members are depending on your commitment. If an emergency prevents you from attending, please contact the Event Manager to cancel your travel and any services booked for you. Cancellation less than two weeks prior to the arrival date may result in a cancellation fee.

OTHER

Yes, we will coordinate your guest’s airfare at the same time we coordinate yours.

WHAT IF I WANT TO COME IN EARLY OR STAY LATE?

State National has a small block of rooms reserved prior to and after the event at the group rate. Please contact the Symposium's Event Manager, who can provide you with the contact information for the hotel’s Group Reservations Coordinator.

WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Please indicate any dietary preferences on the registration form. If anything changes, please feel free to reach out to the planning team at SNCEO@statenational.com. We will do our best to accommodate any preferences.
